Optional WindSage notifications

What notifications may include

• Wind threshold alerts for your default or selected favorite kite spots.
• Ride-window alerts when near-term conditions appear to become more favorable or less favorable.
• Tide indicator alerts before high or low tide when relevant and during reasonable daytime hours.
• Safety-related notices when supported official data indicates storms, marine warnings, or similar risk signals.

User control

Notifications are optional. You can turn them off in WindSage or in iOS Settings. WindSage does not use Apple Critical Alerts in the current implementation.

Data used

If notifications are enabled, WindSage may use your app instance identifier, device token, notification preferences, default location, selected favorite locations, and notification delivery status to provide the service.
